About Juniper Creek

Hi, I’m the founder behind Juniper Creek — and if you’ve ever stepped into the shop and said, “It smells amazing in here,” you’re not alone. That’s the soap. I make it right in the back, and there’s almost always a few loaves drying on the rack.

What started as a small batch soap business has grown into something so much more: a curated collective , a place to gather, and a little corner of comfort in the Alberta foothills.

People come in just to have a look around — to see what’s new, to breathe in the scent of the store, or just to feel good for a few minutes. And more often than not, they end up running into someone they know. They chat by the plants. They make weekend plans by the soap display. They linger.

And that’s the part I love most.

Juniper Creek is full of beautiful, useful, soulful things — but more than that, it’s a place that feels like home. Whether you’re picking up a gift, grabbing something fresh from the fridge, or simply stopping in to wander — we’re so glad you’re here.

Welcome to Juniper Creek. Stay as long as you like.

Land Acknowledgement

Juniper Creek stands on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We honour and acknowledge the past, present, and future generations of the Indigenous peoples who have lived in, traveled through, and cared for these lands for thousands of years.

As an Indigenous-owned business, this acknowledgement is not symbolic — it is a responsibility. We recognize that we operate on Treaty 7 territory, and we hold deep gratitude for the opportunity to live, create, and gather here.

As a proud member of the Lower Nicola Band and part of the Coast Salish people, I carry these roots with me in every part of this work.

Juniper Creek is committed to walking gently on this land, learning continuously, and holding space for truth, reconciliation, and respect.

“We are all treaty people.”

Where will your journey begin?

You’ve explored the shelves, soaked in the scent of the soap, and maybe felt a little tug at your heart.

At Juniper Creek, journeys unfold in two beautiful ways — whether you’re feeling called to healing or dreaming of sharing your work with the world, we’d be honoured to walk with you.
